modifying post / header background colour?

  Hi there

  I’m using the Twenty Ten theme and want to change the main post and header background colours to a light brown, and the text therefore to white. I’ve tried changing all the ‘color’ tags I can see in the CSS editor but with no luck – can anyone point me to the right section? And would I just need to modify the #content text colour bits, or for the heading would I need something else?
