Modifying Templates

I am trying to modify a template I purchased from Template Monster. Has anyone done this? I have tried modifying through Dreamweaver and my hosting site. Both of those do not work. Can I load them up here and modify them? If so how can I do that? My template is a wordpress template.

Since you have your own host and are modifying code, you are not hosted here. No you can’t load your templates here.

The blog linked to your username is a free blog being free hosted by wordpress.COM. It is NOT a wordpress.ORG instal for self hosting.
We cannot add themes at wordpress.COM, we are limited to the themes found in the dashboard under Appearance > Temes. Themes found on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.
We cannot edit themes or templates at wordpress.COM
