Modifying the credits of my blog ONLY

    Hey there !

    First of all, let me apologize for any misunderstanding, this is my very first post on this forum.
    I am trying to create a professional website using a template but the credits on the main page “BLOG AT WORDPRESS.COM. | THE SPUN THEME.” kind of make it look unprofessional. This is very problematic. I was therefore wondering, since I am apparently not able to relocate the credits to another page, if I could modify the credits using CSS to make them look smaller, or at least change their color to black instead or bright red. I have already tried doing so but it seems the credits are linked to the body text making it impossible to change anything without ruining the body.

    Hi @montecarlomusic, you are not allowed to hide the WordPress.com and theme footer credits per our Terms of Service (#11). Even the VIP sites here at WordPress.com (CNN, Time, etc.) are required to keep the footer credits. See the Frequently Asked Questions on the Custom Design support page for more information.

    You are allowed to restyle the footer credits to better fit with your design as long as they remain readable. If you need help restyling the footer credits, post here and our volunteers and our Staff would be happy to help.

    Hi @thesacredpath, thank you for such a prompt answer.
    Yes, I would need to restyle the footer credits on its own, something I cannot seem to be able to do. Ideally, I would like it to be further down on the page, a little smaller and change its color to bright red to a more sober color.
    Would that be doable ?

    Hi there, remove the CSS you used to hide the footer and add the following and see what you think. 

    .site-info, .site-info a {
    color: #888;
}
.site-footer {
    margin-top: 100px;
}

    We have to be careful on the font color so that they are still readable.

    I just changed it and it looks a lot better now. Thank you !
    I kept the color #888 but pushed the credits further down (170 px) for a visibility, is that okay ?
