Modifying vigilance header

  I’d like to use a header that’s quite a bit longer than what Vigilance allows. I was able to go in and modify the CSS to make the header area longer, but when I try to upload a bigger header I’m still restricted by the original header settings and am forced to crop it.

  I’m at a loss as to how to get around it!

  We need a link to the site you are talking about, but in general once you change the width of a theme, or change the dimensions of a header, you have to put the URL for the header image directly into the CSS in a background declaration. The header uploader will always work off the original header size.

  Thanks! I was looking around after I posted my question and found some info about that. I think that’s going to work.
