  To flag a forum post for a staff member’s attention, add “modlook” (without quotes) to the tags section of the post. I’ve done so for this one.

  I own the site which is the French version of https://lincomen.wordpress.com/ which I also own!

  I am not sure what you mean to log in other than what I have already done – sorry!

  The account you are logged in to is an Administrator of that site but not the owner. You will need to logout of your lincomen account and log in as lincomenfr instead. The other option is I can send an email to the address we have on file for the other account — just let me know which option you would prefer.

  The reply came from your lincomen account again. I’ve sent an email to the address we have on the file for the other account — please check all of your email accounts including the spam folder. Once you’ve replied, I’ll be able to transfer the followers.

  The email address registered on file would be that of Guylaine’s, who helped set up the French version of my blog! I guess she created an email address, etc… My sole goal at this time is creating a more official name (lepainvivant) and continue the blog as always! Guylaine has not been helping me with this project since 2017… If you need her permission I can talk to her about it. I wasn’t aware of the way the account was set up!

  It could also be : lincomenfrancais – which transfers to her email account, again because of the French language issue.

  Hi Linc,

  I have received a reply from Guylaine and have transferred the followers to lepainvivant.wordpress.com :)

  Email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before however, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on lepainvivant.wordpress.com.

  Guylaine has not been helping me with this project since 2017… If you need her permission I can talk to her about it.

  If Guylaine is no longer involved in the project, they may want to consider transferring the site to your ownership:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  The transfer can only be started from their account and is entirely optional — I’m just mentioning it because doing so may make things easier in the future if you need permission from the owner to make certain changes.

  If lepainvivant.wordpress.com is a new site, yes. Although you can view traffic numbers for the site on your Stats page here:
