I followed instructions to clear the cache and still when I click on either dashboard or the tab saying just switch to classic mode I just get a new but empty tab..
I cannot enter either my dashboard or the classic mode anymore.
I am using firefox. In explorer I get the message The webpage cannot be found when I try to access either dashboard or classic editor.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Staff member gracjiyoung told me on that one to open a new thread labelled modlook if her advice to empty the cache didnt work. It didnt. -
Oh I see what happened now. You typed modlook into the thread title instead of typing it into the sidebar tags on this thread.

This will bring you back to the new editor. Try clicking on the banner link to go back to the Classic editor. If it goes nowhere again can you please open up a new thread and tag it “modlook”? Thank you!

@3songsbonn: Sorry to hear about the issues you’re having. Apart from clearing your cache, can you also please clear your browser cookies?
Note that clearing our cookies will log you out of WordPress.com, and you will be asked to login again.
In addition, upgrading your Chrome browser to the latest version or using other browsers such as Firefox and Safari may help as well:

No they didn’t make any difference. Now I get the following:
“Whoops!
There was a small systems error. Please try refreshing the page and if the error is still there drop us a note and let us know.”
Using the new browser takes two minutes to save even a single post!
I desperately want the old ‘Classic’ Post version back.
Maybe because I am posting from Germany to wordpress.com?
I am really sick of this Beep Beep Boop cr*p – who the hell is it supposed to be helping?

Hi there,
After opening the new editor, you should be able to select “classic mode” (to go back to the classic editor) by using the banner in the upper right: https://cloudup.com/cbxSwXktryZ
Can you let me know if that works for you?
Our team is continuing to investigate why the new post editor is loading slowly for some people, but in the meantime you can use the classic editor that way.
