hello,
after get connected in WordPress.com, all I can see is a white page with W for WordPress. that’s all. I tried to remove temporary memories and cookies, . I’m on internet explorer. it works when I get trough with Google chrome. what can I do to make it work with internet explorer ? it used to work fine until yesterday, but I didn’t change anything, and I can see here in France and other country that several users have the same issue. can it come from some changes WordPress did ? thank you for your help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi – Thank you for sharing all of those details, that is very helpful! Which version of Internet Explorer are you running? If you’re not sure, you can load http://supportdetails.com/ into your browser and it will tell you. An update may be needed.

maman délire – Are you still having trouble with your site in Internet Explorer?
We may need to remove the database by pastingindexedDB.deleteDatabase(‘calypso’)
into your console.

After you paste this into the console, try to access your account again in Internet Explorer and note any differences.

lizkarkoski: I ‘ve ever done it, few time since thursday but nothing change.when i log to my blog admin, the page in white with WP logo, and in the adresse ligne (at th top of page) in front of the adress of the page there is a green rectangle inside this rectangle there is a padlock closed and after the padlock it’ s write: “wordpress.com(automattic, inc.)[US]”
sorry for my bad inglish . it ‘s difficult to me to explain better.

@animallibera – Which web browser are you using? Does the issue persist if you try to load your account in a different browser?

I use google chrome. If i connect with my phone with go ogle chrome to ,i can acces to my blog whitout problem.
and( i just see that) when i login to comment here, it’s ok . it’s mean : if i log in since the forum i can accès to my admin!!! strange no???? -

hello, I will try tonigh to do what lizkarkoski advise me to do ( to remove the database by pasting indexedDB.deleteDatabase(‘calypso’) into your console.), hoping I ‘ll be able to do that, and I’ll come back to you. for the moment nothing changed, I can’t access to WordPress by internet explorer, but it works on Google chrome.

today I tried to connect with internet explorer again in my WordPress blog and… it worked fine !!! I didn’t do anything ??? computers were something mysterious for me and it still is !!!

Chrome 41 is a very old version. The most recent version of Chrome is 52. Can you please try updating your browser to that version?Can you also please take a screen shot of what you see at http://supportdetails.com/ and upload it here for me:

Thanks for letting me know that it’s working for you as well now.
And while I know you have your reasons for preferring IE, please keep in mind that Microsoft has stopped support for that browser so it will start having more and more problems as time passes, so you might want to consider switching to Chrome or Firefox instead going forward.

Thanks for the screen shot. That 106 error points to either a problem with your Chrome installation, or with Windows itself.
If it’s with Windows I’ll not be able to help you, but for Chrome, try uninstalling it completely. Then download and install the newest version from scratch. You can download it at http://browsehappy.com/
If the new download won’t install, then the problem is with Windows and you’ll likely need to get someone to do a malware scan and check the file registry for errors if you don’t know how to do that yourself. But first make sure that you have all Windows updates installed. If Windows is missing some updates that might be the cause of the problem.

I’m glad to hear that. The problem might have been with Windows then, but was fixed with an automatic update. Still try to make sure both Windows and Chrome are updated completely, to avoid further issues.
