I would like to migrate toward a wordpress.org solution as I absolutely want to create a newsletter and download a white paper from my website. Or it seems impossible with wordpress.com
I don”t want to pay twice. It is possible to swift from one to others. I will stay with a wordpress CMS solution.

Je ne “veux PAS payer deux fois. Est IL possible de MIGRER de wordpress. com vers wordpress.org sans surcout PUISQUE je reste avec une solution CMS wordpress ? D’avance merci

Hi there,
No blogging platform will allow you to directly send out an email newsletter. For that you need a newsletter service like MailChimp or AWeber.
On WordPress.com you can add a MailChimp subscriber pop-up form that you can use for people to sign up, while on a self-hosted site you can install a plugin for a bit more integration, but you’ll still need MailChimp to send out the actual newsletters – you can’t do that directly from your site.
