Modlook: my student's site has disappeared

  • Unknown's avatar

I teach a basic web design class and my students use WordPress. com. One contacted me today to say that her site has disappeared. The site itself is still there: https://tigerstogether.wordpress.com/
But, she gave me her login info, and when I am in her account, nothing shows up under MySites. Can someone from WordPress take a look and let me know what happened?

    Hi agj3240,
When you click on MySite, you will find “Switch Site” below it and the site name below it, just click on “Switch Site” and see if you find your site there. If still facing an issue, try clearing your cache using these guidelines: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

Try to login again, let me know how it goes.

Thanks, but that doesn’t work because we actually get the message : “You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.” She just contacted me and said she might have been working in an old account … so I have a feeling that is the problem. If not, I will come back and ask for more assistance.

    Hi again,
Just make sure the correct login information is provided. Sure, let us know if we can help you further.
    Thanks!

    Hi agj3240,

The site is visible but if she is logged into an account that isn’t connected to the site, she won’t be able to access it. If she needs help any help, please ask her to login and reply here so we can take a look.

    Thanks!
