Modularity Lite Comment Box Text Hard to Read When Typing Comment

Hello,
I think another blogger had this issue a few weeks back in another thread. I commented on that thread that my blog is also having this issue, but it seems that thread is dead. I can’t find another thread devoted to this topic.
I am using Modularity Lite and the background color in the comment box is black. The text that says “Enter your comment here…” is white and that’s great. However as soon as you start typing your comment, the text color turns dark and is nearly impossible to read against the black background. I have to actually go back and highlight my text after I’ve typed it so that I can see what I’ve typed.
I’ve posted comments on other WordPress blogs that use different themes without encountering this issue. I would like to keep this theme. Is it possible to make the text white so people can see what they are typing? Thanks!

Many thanks, timethief. For some reason, it didn’t occur to me to do a tag search for “comment box.” I see now that others are having this issue and that the staff is working on a solution.
