Modularity Lite Slideshow bugged?

Recently the slideshow on my blog stopped working and got stuck on one featured image not from my recent posts and I couldn’t do anything to get it to work again I even deleted my recent post and re post and still the same problem.
I tried to delete the post with the featured image that is appearing in slideshow (The Mirage) it pushed back an image from way older post and ignored the last three recent posts (with images i uploaded from my computer).
And even when i try to narrow the number of posts that appears on the homepage before the bugged image (The Mirage) it just leave the slideshow empty ignoring the latest post image.
Any clue?

I’m also having troubles with my slide show. Sometimes my photos show, other times they just show the place holder but no photos. I’ve tried re-attaching the photos to more recent posts…no luck. Hopefully someone can figure this out.

Okay Thanks panaghiotisadam for pointing that out, i did rescale my image to 950x~~~ width and re upload them but still didn’t fix the problem however I think i found some sort of a solution :D
First you need to delete the image from your post (with images that don’t show up on the slideshow) and re upload it again then after that once you click (Insert into post) button it will appear in the editing panel like it should, here is the trick you need to scale the image up to the size of the slide show inside the editing panel (it will look big) and then click update.
Although iam not convinced that was the problem because the (The Mirage) image i had that was showing in the slideshow alone before wasn’t scaled up in the editing panel and still show in the slide show beside i can’t get my very latest post image to show with my solution so iam confused :S

Oh now i just rescaled my latest post image to exactly 950×450 and re upload it and it did appear on the slideshow.
So you need an image with that demolitions or around 950x~~~ but this really weird because i really didn’t have any problems before, it just showed up after couples of days when i check on the website.
hope that will help you earthtalker and let us know if would confirm that as an actual solution.

The problem is the dimensions. You didn’t have that problem before, because the slideshow would work with smaller images as well, but a couple of days ago WP decided that smaller featured images shouldn’t be allowed (because they get blown up so lose quality). If you check the forums, you’ll see many threads by users complainig about similar problems in Structure, Inuit Types and other themes.
Now, as I explain in my post, the ML slideshow displays the first image you have uploaded to each one of the front page posts. So for the slideshow to work correctly with your current posts, you must go to your Media Library, delete that first image from each post, and re-upload and re-insert it after you have resized it to 950×425 pixels (or larger) in an image editing application. Or, simpler, wait till you publish new posts, and make sure the first image you upload to each new post is in the right dimensions.

but in my case my images was larger than 950×425 and used to work kind cropped a bit but was fine and then that stopped working just from a couple of days for no reasons, so i was wondering.

As you can probably see now, the slideshow is picking the images that are large enough, and isn’t picking those that aren’t, for example this one (719×230):

Freefallq8, panaghiotisadam YOU ROCK! Ya, totally the dimensions worked.
I changed the image and scaled per your suggestions 950×425 and the pix show up.
Looks like uploading images at that size will work nicely. I’ll let you know if I have any more problems. THANKS!! :-)
