  Hi, I would like to find out if I can monetize my site, using one of the paid plans, even though I am located in, and am a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago. Or is it open only to US nationals?

  If you upgrade your plan to Premium or Business plan you will be able to monetize your WebSite.

  There are different ways to monetise your site, and to for example make use of affiliate links or sponsored posts you need no upgrades at all. You can see all the ways it’s possible to monetise your site on WordPress.com here:
