Monetization details for subdomain account

    Hello Support Department.

    I am planning to expand my site and start posting huge number of articles, therefore I want to inquire that:

    1) Is it possible to monetize my Subdomain (www.getup2thedate.wordpress.com) which i have recently started for blogging purposes?

    2) do we require a paypal account for monetization? As PayPal facility is not available in our country (Pakistan) Please guide me with the alternative solution i.e bank account for monetization etc..

    Please respond me back as soon as possible so that i may take further steps and start working on it.

    I do not want to buy a plan at the moment, but soon after analyzing target audience and visitors ratio i have a plan to buy plans for multiple websites.

    Best regards,
    Najaf Hussain

    Yes, here are some of the ways you can monetize your site:

    2) do we require a paypal account for monetization? ..

    It depends on your method of monetization.
    For example, if you choose WordAds, it pays via PayPal.

    Thanks for the informative reply.. But one of my question still stands there is;

    Wordads require PayPal which I don’t have, therefore i may require some other option to link my subdomain site for monetization, i have checked Adsense but they do not accept Sub-Domain sites for adsense.

    Now do i have any other option available? Because i only know 2 of them, Wordads and Adsense.

    Regards
    Nj

  • WordAds require a PayPal account. That is in the WordAds terms of service, so if you don’t have a PayPal account, you won’t be able to use WordAds on your site.

    Google’s Adsense is only allowed on WordPress.com sites with the Business Plan. Whether or not you can use that with a site on a subdomain you need to sort out with them. Adsense is run by Google, not by us, and we have no control over their policies and how their service works.
