  I want to monetize my blog which I created in free. How can I monetize it ?

  Hi there. I’m not sure if you would like an online shop or generate revenue on WordAds. WordPress.com does not have an online shop feature.

  @yam12de – Please read the support doc that @zazter linked to in his reply just above. That gives all the available options for monetizing a WordPressdotcom site.

  The link that zazter provided me monetizes only the blogs that have custom domains. But I am using free provided .wordpress.com domain.

  Hi There, Yes you can only Monetize on an upgrade package.

  @theworldmrkt It is correct that WordAds is available for sites with a Premium or Business plan or a site with high traffic and appropriate content, but you can still monetize your site via these other methods:

  -Affiliate Linking
  -Sponsored/Pre-Written Posts
  -Selling Physical and Digital Products, and Requesting Donations or Tips

  as long as you adhere to the guidelines mentioned in that Support doc.

  Looking at your site, you may want to see if it currently falls within those guidelines.

  If you are looking to create a storefront, you may find it preferable to host your own install of the standalone WP software. You can learn more about the differences between standalone WP and WordPressdotcom (where we are) here https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
