  My blog is @historytoblog.wordpress.com created using free plan. Can I monetize it (Place ads) under free paln.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No, you cannot. There is only one advertising program on WordPress.com, which is WordAds, but it is for blogs on their own domains.
