Hi the cost to monetize a website has raised to £85 a year instead of $20 a year.

what are the rates earnings of the word ads , will I be able to make the £85 back plus interest within a year? if not can I get my money back ?

Hi –

There’s no guarantee on how much money you’ll make through WordAds as this market is constantly fluctuating. It would be unfair for me to try and predict or give you a confirmation about this.

You can apply for WordAds with only a Personal plan and custom domain though. This is an application process versus the ability to simply turn on the ads.

The benefit is that the personal plan costs $35.88 per year where the premium plan is $99 per year.

Please note that you are not able to use generated or fake traffic – if you do your site will no longer be eligible for WordAds. The traffic needs to be unique and genuine and the site must contain unique content.

It will take time and a lot of work to build a following like that.

Our Premium and Business plans include automatic access to the WordAds program — this isn’t a feature of the Personal plan though. With this plan, you have the option to apply to the program but your site will need a custom domain or mapped domain.

When you cancel a plan all features that the plan provides are gone.

A custom or mapped domain is needed for your site to be eligible for WordAds, so you would need to keep it active.

It sounds like you want to invite an Administrator to doltd.wordpress.com, is that correct? The username @D.I.P. Chronicles doesn’t exist, what is the username of the account you would like to be an Administrator?
