Monetizing a blog

  I am thinking of monetizing my blog but need to know a bit about it first.
  Do I qualify for wordpress ads?
  Are the ads targeted and related to my blog topics etc?

  Anyone got any advice please?

  In order to qualify for WordAds you have to have a custom domain and also meet the approval of staff. They currently have a backlog of thousands of applicants, and they won’t say exactly how they make the decision.

  The ads appear to be unrelated to your blog content; at least, the ones on my blog are.
