Monetizing a blog

  Does anyone know how the process works? I know you need to purchase a domain first, but I want to know how it works. (I want to a potentially profitable blog before I invest money in it)

  Is it based on views or something else and what is the formula of calculation.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s not how it works. It takes money to make money. If you have a thousand views per day it will be feasable to buy hosting, install software from WordPress.org, and apply for ad networks. If you don’t, then the only option is to remain here and get a custom domain for $18 a year and apply for the WordAds program.
