I am new to blogging with WordPress and would like to monetize my blog with affiliates. I’m not exactly sure what it all entails or means, and wonder if the Premium plan is right for me. What is the WordAds program and what are the impressions listed under the Premium plan?

Affiliate marketing is when you have an agreement with a business, usually an eCommerce business of some time, that if you recommend one of their products and one of your blog readers clicks an affiliate link and then buys that product, you’ll receive a commission payment. You can add affiliate links to any WordPress.com site. It’s up to you to determine which affiliate programs are right for you and for your website readers.
WordAds is a program where ads will appear on your website and you’ll receive payment when those ads are clicked. You do need the premium account in order to run WordAds. You can learn more about that program at https://wordads.co
