  Pls let me know which plan I should buy on WordPress to monetize my blog. I am an individual blogger and have just started.

  Correct account: Yes

  It is necessary for you to be subscribed to WordPress.com’s Premium plans or higher if you want to monetize your site based on how you plan to do so.

  According to that link .. it’s still possible remain on the free package and still monetize via:

  * Affiliate Linking
  * Sponsored/Pre-Written Posts

  Though there are still many vague and grey areas that is not addressed like:
  * Linking to crowdfunding pages
  * Posting crypto wallet addresses
  * etc
