Monetizing my blog

  I’ve read a lot of options regarding monetizing my blog on WordPress but I’ll like a candid advice on the best option for someone owning a site in Nigeria not supported by PayPal. I’ll like to upgrade my current plans but payment option also seems not to be for me. My credit card is a Naira debit card which I’m not sure will work for this purpose

  Hello there,

  According to the link to their website below, Paypal appears to accept payments in Nigeria.
  https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/country-worldwide

  Hi there,

  Most of our services use Stripe as the merchant processor, so that will not work within Nigeria.

  However, these will work with PayPal, which as @amiteshg93 correctly points out, is an option that is available to you in your country.

  Thanks. The PayPal available in Nigeria only accepts payment. if I earn money through my blog, I don’t think I’ll be able to withdraw it. The issue actually is with withdrawal of my earnings

  Hi again,

  I would suggest that you contact PayPal directly for clarification. In my short time researching this issue it seems that what you say is true for PayPal Personal accounts (which can only send money) but may not be true for PayPal Business accounts specifically.

  The requirements for Nigerian businesses to set up a verified PayPal Business account are not clear to me however, and for this reason I recommend you discuss this option with them to see if you would qualify.

  You’re absolutely right! I’ll confirm other options from Paypal. I was only hoping WordPress has a more favourable payment and withdrawal methods for my location. I have a Payoneer account for instance
