I was wondering if there was anyway to make money through the blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Send me a dollar and I’ll tell you… :D
Actually, WordPress does not allow any type of Google Ads, Yahoo Ads, etc.

@fantasyhelper, if you are looking to see your own products that you have made yourself with your own hands, etc., then typically staff has not problem with that. As xtap59 says though, advertising is not allowed here at this time. Here are a couple links for you to review.

There are several ways to make money through blogs. I teach some of them, but I charge for that.
Basically, WordPress.com is not commercializable. You will need an external site using WordPress.org software for most of the ways to make money. The downside: it costs money to make money.

thanks for the all the help guys. my second question is does it cost money to use and download wordpress.org?
-
The software is free, but in order to use it you must register a domain and pay to host your site somewhere.
-
The WordPress.ORG software is free to download.
Using it is another issue. You need to have a host for your blog and a Domain Name, install and learn how to maintain your own site (or hire it done), figure about $10– to $25– per month.
There are a few other sites that are free that allow your adds, but they seem to be crippled for functions based on the talk in the support forums.

@fantasyhelper
I think you will benefit from reading this support entry on the differences between wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/Also note that you can click the following link to locate recommended web hosts for wordpress.ORG installs.http://wordpress.org//hosting/
Generally, figure a cost of around $10 to $25 per month total including all costs for a wordpress.ORG install.. You will be responsible for all installations, upgrades, backups, and for troubleshooting. That means if something goes wrong, then it will be up to you to figure out what it is and fix it.
Having said that also be aware that I know quite a number of people advertising on their wordpress.ORG installs (hits around 500 to 2k per day) and they barely cover their web hosting costs, so please don’t think advertising is going to bring you a lot of income because it won’t.
Best wishes with your blogging. :)
