Money taken from my paypal account yet no subcription in purchases list

    I have not purchased any additional plans at all (there are no present purchases shown on the purchases overview) and yet 99 USD has ben deducted from my paypal account as automatic payment on June 2 2022. I expect this payment to be returned and the yearly automatic payment to be cancelled by WordPress.

    This typically happens when you more than 1 wordpress.com account. If you don’t know what a billing is about, you can check it yourself at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/.

    Hi there,

    You had a Premium Plan in this account which you originally bought in July 2016. You can see past receipts for this plan at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

    The 2 June charge is for the annual renewal of that plan – we sent you an email on 3 May to let you know the renewal is approaching.

    The reason you don’t see the plan in your account is because you filed a dispute with PayPal before you contacted us.

    We refund all payments if requested within the refund period, but if you dispute a charge instead of contacting us to ask for a refund, the payment is frozen pending an investigation by PayPal, so at the moment it’s impossible for us to refund it. Additionally, the upgrade in question is removed from your account, and your site is locked pending payment of a chargeback fee.
