  The Premium package allows to monetize with ad’s. What exactly does that mean?
  Am I allowed to sell my own product with the premium site?

  It seems to depend on which product you plan to sell. The articles states the following:

  You can sell your handmade products, art, books, or digital products such as ebooks or courses on your site using your PayPal account. You can also solicit donations or tips from your readers using the PayPal button or link.
