If you’re referring to WordPress’ WordAds Program, currently, it is impossible to give any individual a set answer and say they will receive X amount of earnings for any given month.
The amount you earn is highly dependent on many factors, but to give you an idea of how it works, I suggest you have a look at some past threads regarding the topic of WordAds, as some of the responses might clear up some of the confusion:

Everything You Wanted to Know About WordAds
https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/02/14/wordads/I’m confused between different terms used like impressions, visit, views and clicks.
As far as this is concerned, it’s to my understanding that:
Impressions, from an Ads perspective, refers to when an ad on your page is simply seen. So if a user is scrolling through a page and then comes across an ad, that will generate an impression.
Views, refers to any time a page on your site is loadeded by a browser. If for example a person lands on your Home page, then navigates their way to your About page, and then goes back to your Home page, this would count as 3 page views.
Visits, refers to when someone literally visits your site whether it be through an eternal link, search results or directly typing in your URL address. When a user is actively looking and clicking through your site, it is considered as 1 visit. When that user becomes inactive for a certain period of time, but then comes back to your site, that will be counted as a new visit.
Clicks, from an Ads perspective, refers to how many times your ads were clicked on by a single user. If a user clicks on your ad multiple times, that will register as multiple clicks.
