Monochrome all white?

  I’ve just switched to the new Monochrome theme and it is all white. The preview shows a black background, yet activated/installed it is all white. Is there a quirk with this theme? And why is the print/font so very small?

  If you click my username you will see the same theme displaying correctly. I believe you will need Staff assistance to get it to display correctly on your blog ie. two black side bars on the far left and far right. However, the small font looks to me to be the same size as I see on the theme in my blog.

  Aside:
  That being said, I would absolutely love to have Monochrome display like what I see on your blog, on mine. This is because I’m visually challenged and the use of the gray font on the black background in the sidebars lacks contrast and makes the text very hard for me to read.

  Hi timethief. Thanks. I had looked around finding a few blogs with the Monochrome theme and looked at yours. Yes, I do see what you mean about the lack of contrast with the text. The text is truly too small in the first place. I’ve sent in a ticket to support.

  On a side note: I sure would like to see more themes geared for photography with larger font and larger image display with multiple posts on one page that would all load smoothly for the viewers.

  Hi there. I’m not a photographer. I chose this theme because I liked the other features which are like the ones found on Inove, and I liked the way my posts displayed in the posts which were intended to be displaying photos. However the lack of accessibility (gray font on black background) is an issue, so I will be switching to another theme again … sigh.

  I agree that the font is gar too small and expect this themes was designed by someone under the age of 35 … lol :D In the case of small font sizes I adjust these very easily in my browser http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/19/how-to-change-font-text-size-in-your-browser/

  As for what I would like to see in themes accessibility is number one with me, and magazine style themes with the features that Inove and Monsochrome have is my second priority.
