  i wanted to upgrade to the month by month but its trying to charge me for the yearly price why is that?

  Hi there, all WordPressdotcom upgrade plans are paid for the full year at checkout (note on the plans page it says “billed yearly”) and are automatically renewed with the card on record unless you opt out.

  If you decide to cancel, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a refund on everything but domain registration which needs to be cancelled within 48-hours of purchase. Here’s more about that:
