  hey i am new to word press and want to test word press before i buy the yearly package is their a way to get charged monthly or a trial so i can see if it will work for me

  Upgrades are charged annually in advance. But you’ve already created the free site https://octodotpress.wordpress.com/ Why not experiment with that.
