  Hi there, I went to purchase the £3 a month for personal use for the blog however when going to paypal to make payment is was asking for the full amount. How do I set it up for monthly? thanks

  £3 per month, billed yearly

  means an upgrade to the Personal plan is charged annually at £36 (or £66 for 2 years) in advance. There are no monthly payment plans at WordPress.com.
