MONTHLY personal plan

I am trying to buy the personal plan but can only afford to do monthly payments because I don’t have $48 to spend on this at this time. I asked the AI assistant and it offered to connect me to a person to help. I said yes to that, then the AI assistant came back and told me I can only get support from a human if I get a paid plan, which I AM TRYING TO DO. I am only given the options of 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years at checkout. There is no option for monthly payments even though the AI assistant said they were possible. How the heck do I get a monthly personal plan?!

If money is tight I still don’t see paying monthly as being the best choice. Over the course of a year you’ll be paying twice as much as people with annual plans. Also you’ll miss out on support and the offer of a free custom domain for the first year. My advice would be to save up until you have the necessary $48.

PS: I’m curious why you wish to upgrade to an expensive monthly Personal plan. Without a custom domain the only benefits are additional storage (which you may not need initially) and no ads. It seems a lot to pay just to avoid the ads.

    Hello @dinneranddiatribesblog!

I’ve checked the WordPress.com site in question and can confirm that you already have a Personal plan with a monthly billing cycle. I also noticed another site under your account that is currently on a Free plan. If you’d like to upgrade that one as well, you can follow the instructions in this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/upgrade-your-plan/
