More ad impressions = less earnings?!?
-
Hi,
I would like to know why I have more ad impressions in May 2017 than in previous months but I have less earnings?
Is this a mistake?!
Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you vijaysarwood but I use WordAds who I think work with how many people see the ad not CPC? This is what I got from their FAQ:
Q: Can I have more information about my earnings?
A: Generally, you’re paid per impression (when the ad is seen by a visitor), not by click. That means the more visits you get, and the more each visitor uses your site, the more you’ll earn.So I would assume as I had more visitors/views I would earn more than previous months? Hope this makes sense!

Hi there,
So I would assume as I had more visitors/views I would earn more than previous months?
It’s a reasonable assumption, but incorrect.
Advertising rates fluctuate constantly. The online ads system is similar to the stock market where advertisers bid in real time, so earning will depend on how much advertisers are bidding at any given moment.
Rates are also vastly different depending on the country the viewer is visiting from. Unless you have the same exact number of visitors from the same countries every single month, you’ll never be able to calculate a consistent rate just by Earnings vs. Impression totals.

Hey Kokkkieh,
Ahhhh thank you for explaining! That makes sense! I just realized my second month I had less impressions but more earnings so thank you that helps me figure it out what is going on!
