More Categories & Pages Q's

    Hi all,

    1. I have 3 pages; 1, 2 & 3. I want all posts to show up in Page 1, as well as either in Page 2 or Page 3 depending on the category. However, I have Page 2 set as a Static Front Page with Page 1 set as the posts page and ALL posts are showing up in both. Can i have Page 2 as Static AND only display certain posts?

    2. I’ve categorised the posts for Page 3 by putting the appropriate category in the top bar menu. Is this the best way to do it?
    If so, at the top of Page 3, is there a way to change “Category Archives: Page 3” to something else?

    You need to read this: wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/ you do not need to create static pages at all.

    Cheers mate, but I want to use the “Showcase Page Template” (Oxygen theme), which in the summary thing says:

    “If you’d like use the Showcase Page template on your front page, go to Settings → Reading and set the Front page option to Static Page.“

    Also, any help on my question 2? Can i change the “Category Archives” to another title?
