'more colors' has stopped appearing when you click on Text/Font Color

I am accustomed to change Font/Text color using the drop down pallette and the more colors option there. The last few days no matter which computer I am using (case of fault with one system or another) that more colors does not appear forcing me to only use the main pallette. I do use colors not on that and need to have that? Was that feature taken away, temporarily out of service, or is something just not working right?
    Thanks,

That setting no longer exists. See here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/the-paste-as-word-button-has-been-removed-from-the-visual-editor?replies=6

As one of the changes to the editor, the “More colors” option under Text colors has been removed.

It’s possible we may build in new ways to change text color in the future, but for now, you’ll need to use the default set of colors. If you need to use a custom color, you can choose a default color from the palette, and then edit the color in the Text editor window to add your custom color as a six-digit “hex” color.

LOL..at least it wasn’t my imagination. Took me a few days to realize it wasn’t a temporary glitch. I will learn the text editor and type in the ‘hex’ color…I was doing that in the ‘more colors’ anyway for consistency instead of winging it approximately every time.

Thanks for your quick response!! Would be good to put that facility back into play however!!

    Thanks again,
    judy
