More detailed information on users visiting our website

    Hello! I am wondering if you can help us to figure out more detailed information on users that are visiting our website? We have looked at the Google Analytics and we were wondering if there was a capability to see what IP address users are coming in from our their email address or company they work for any more detailed information? Thank you for your help.

    Hi there, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.

    For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so if you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.

    I don’t know of any plugin or way of seeing more information on those visiting your site, at least not any sort of detailed listing of IP addresses, email addresses or company information. With the recent European GDPR regulations, less and less information can be collected without the user specifically agreeing to share that information.
