‘More’ in Pages

I had this feuilleton which got to 11 chapters. I want to continue it, but bring all chapters together in a Page. That’s a lot of text to scroll, but the tag ‘More’ doesn’t work here.
I could give every chapter it’s own Page, but that means a row of Chapter links in the side widget, and I want only the name of the feuilleton there and a main link. So after having read (I hope) the first chapter, one would need to click a ‘More’, or ‘Continued’. I can’t find such an option. But I saw someone mentioning ‘sub-pages’. I looked it up in Support, but that didn’t make me any wiser.

Can’t give you a link because I put the Page on private, there’s a lot of corrections to be done so I don’t want the texts viewed prematurely. But it’s mentioned here,
    http://sgreifwonder.wordpress.com/
as ‘cosmopera’. (rrright; space opera re-invented)

You can do this on pages using pagination. The support page should tell you all you need to know. I’ve not used it myself but report back if you have any problems.

You could also make the chapters a sub page or child page of a main page.

Different Theme’s show the child page in different ways – many only show the top or parent page unless you mouse over it – worth looking at or trying –

Thanks auxclass, but hallluke’s solution is the simplest one. You see, I thought because the page break tag ‘readmore’ doesn’t work in Pages, the ‘nextpage’ code wouldn’t work either…I does work. Great!

I have another question on Pages, I’ll do a separate post.

    Thanks the both of you.
