    Good Day Sir/Madam.
    How are you doing today?
    I need more information on the new site I was try to create, at first I saw free site, but later I was asked to pay $48 Yearly. Pls kindly explain to me,
    Secondly I don’t mind paying the $48 yearly, but I would prefer to pay $4 monthly as selected on ur options. It’s just a new business am trying to register here in Nigeria. Pls am I to pay the total $48 or before operating, please, I would truly need your help on paying $4 per month. And I will never fail. Thanks

    Hi,

    If you didn’t intentionally try to purchase a WordPress.com product, whether it be a plan or something else, then there should be no charge, nothing in your shopping cart, and no request for payment. There have been other recent reports of a paid plan being accidentally added to a member’s cart. I wonder if that might have happened in this case.

    You can remove the charge from your cart, if you’re not looking to upgrade but you can also pay monthly. After adding the desired plan to the cart, you’ll want to edit the purchase:

    There, you’ll see the option to pay monthly:
