More info about WordAds program

  Hello !

  We are a little team, we would like to plan an evolution to Premium wordpress formula which includes WordAds program.

  At first and before we jump intro Premium, we would like to know more about earnings, amounts, ratios in order to know if the website will be self sufficent at first (earn 9€ per month).
  We are from France, developping content in French.

  Im looking for feedback from users of WordAds at the moment, approx. same region / Western europe. We barely know that half of people having an adblock too.

  Ive see some numbers while checking on the web, likely 1€ for 1000 views (or ad prints ?). Im looking for a little bit more field experience about WordAds to consider or not … this possibility.

  The earnings amount varies depending on several factors including:

  • The amount of traffic
  • Where your traffic comes from
  • The number of visitors using ad blockers
  • The actual ads displayed

  All of these factors mean I can’t give you an earnings amount for a certain number of impressions. However, sites on the WordAds program generally need thousands of page views per month in order to earn a meaningful revenue.   We are actually (before some great changes we are making / private site atm), between 12k to 23k views per month in 2017. We already have some audience from Youtube / several communities from each member of the team.

  Before getting into serious business, we need to get a clear view around WordAds / Even a simple range of ratio per thousand view is fine :)

  The factors I previously listed combined with advertising rate fluctuations, means I really am unable to give you any figures.

  Earnings can vary each month and from site to site — even though they may have similar amounts of traffic. The calculation of earnings is complex :)
