  Hi,
  I started with a wordpress.com site and then brought a domain (turrettown.com) for it.

  I’m wanting to put a unity game on it, but after some googling it looks like this cannot be done from the a wordpress.com site.

  So I’m looking into the Guided Transfer.
  What will happen to my domain? Can I use one of the recommended hosting sites and keep my domain?

  Yes, the guided transfer moves your domain and everything over to one of the listed web hosts.
