More Photo Blog Themes Please

We need more options than Monotone and Duotone Please. Or at least give us a few more options on them. Like getting rid of automatic exif/metadata display. Allowing for a small text box below instead. And allowing up to at least 1048 pixel width.

There is a theme recommendations thread wherein Staff have specified criteria for considering new themes. You will find that requests made 2 years ago are still on that list so don’t hold your breath, as it’s likely to take a long time until Staff get to your request, provided it does meet the criteria, and they do choose to “adapt” the theme so it can run on wordpress.com (mutltiuser blogging platform). Also note that when wordpress.org themes are adapted to run on wordpress.com software not all of the features of the original wordpress.org version will necessarily be in the adapted theme. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/theme-recommendations?replies=101

Unless staff changed something again, in Monotone images are inserted in real size: you can very well upload 1048px wide files or even wider.
Also not that in Duotone, if you want your images centered, you must set the alignment to None before inserting them.

if the themes are not what you like perhaps you can get one customized to fit your taste, I know of a wonderful design whom specializes in customizations of WP themes…not sure if I can or can not add her link her, but she is awsome.
There’s noting wrong with giving a theme a bit of a personal feel to it.
