more space between widgets?
-
I have a sinking feeling I’ve asked about this before: but I searched as best I could in my mile-long list and couldn’t find anything …
In Newsy the sidebar widgets don’t seem to be separated by the same vertical space every time.
How do I code this, then, please? – so as to be able to have them apart in a nice, neat way?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I would also like to know the code for this and if it is possible to remove the horizontal lines under the widget titles.
-
Oh, well that one should be easy, Kristy – which I say because I had to work out how to insert them! :-)
.entry-title a { border-bottom: solid 1px #dadae6; }was what I entered in CSS to do that. So I should think you need to look for code resembling that, and replace the second line with
border-dottom: none;
and it’d work. Well, I reckon so. You can always delete it if it doesn’t! -

Forgive me: I have no right to even attempt to answer anybody – I’m far too idiotic.
The code I supplied was regarding underlining of post headings, not widgets.
I do apologise for not reading thoroughly. -
Hi Margaret, so kind of you to share the code above. Unfortunately it did not work however it might be because I am using the theme, Forever and you are using the Newsy theme.
-
Hi Margaret,
This code worked for me:
#secondary aside { padding-bottom: 20px !important; } -
Yep, I knew it would be something to do with padding-bottom.
I’ll give that one a run and see what happens, Kristy.
Later … -
Gosh! – that worked for me, too! Amazing!
You must be a tireless worker. :-)
Listen, thanks heaps, eh? – goodonyer!M.R.
