More storage?

  Hello! :)

  First of all I just wanted to say that I think wordpress is great.

  Anyhow, I was wondering if it’s possible to add just a bit more storage room for each user/blog? If you take gmail as an example, it has more than 2.8 GB’s for each user, while Blogger (also by google) has unlimited storage for your blog. My opera has 300 MB’s of storage for your blog and several other blog websites has much to offer. That’s really one of the few things I’d like to change at wordpress.

  You can purchase space upgrades for a reasonable fee

  Yes, I know that it can be bought, but I still think 50 MB is a bit too low for starters when other blogging services offer more. And I’m not too sure about the upgradeable space, because you don’t buy for a life time, but only a year each time, which means you have to pay every year if you want to keep your stuff. Just another 50 MB would do a lot for free users.

  Buy space, or use another service like photobucket, those are the only options at the moment. You can always drop a feedback in suggesting they increase the ammount of alloted space aswell

  Also, i dont think its to expensive the upgrade costs, not like its costing you an arm and a leg every year, just a few dollars

  Just registered at box.net, and hopes this will solve some of the problems. Anyways, it would still be nice with 50 megs extra ;)
