More Tag is DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!

Unfortunately I have read several help pages on the “More Tag” and have watched one video on it. I cannot get it to work on my blog post and it’s driving me crazy!!! I’ll enter the text before I click the ‘More Tag’ button and then I’ll enter more text after it but when I go to preview my post it doesn’t show the cutoff. I’m frustrated! Can anyone help me?

If I’m understanding you correctly, your running into this while you are writing/editing your post and click the preview button. The preview you see is of what the post will look like when published as it’s own separate post. The more tag is seen in the front page of your blog (where you have all of your posts), not the post when it’s viewed independently. Once the post is published you should see the more tag show up in the post on your front page. Hope this helps.

It doesn’t show up on the preview. If you publish your post and then go to the front page of your blog, it should appear correctly.

The preview never shows the More Tag break, when you read any Post with the More Tag, you will not see the More Tag when you read just a Post.
I look at the preview and decide where I want to put the more tag then just put the tag where I want it.
You will not see the more tag until the Post is published and you go to the front page.
