more tag not apperar in preview

  more tag not appear

  Hi I newbie with wordpress ,have this issue: during creating a new post ,MORE TAG can add to page ,but can’t see in preview on page.
  Anybody can advise me?

  That is correct – the preview shows the whole Post, the More Tag is only for the front page to only show part of the Post, once you click on the More tag or the Post title you see the whole Post.

  If you want to know what will show on the front page, just look at where the text is on the preview that is ahead of the More Tag
