moronic question (sorry!): Facebook widget?
-
Having been nagged beyond endurance, I’m beginning on a FB page. Well, two, actually – reluctantly – because I’m told one MUST start from a personal site in order to add an ‘author’ page. Which both have been done, although looking more than somewhat sparse.
I don’t intend EVER to use the personal page: the author page is the reason for my bowing to pressure.
But when I attempted the FB widget, it was all very strange, and I ended up with a small pink box showing part of a photo and nothing else except the dire warning that I had to ‘change’.
Would a patient and helpful person please step me through putting a Facebook link on my blogsite, please? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having trouble setting up to share my blog posts with Facebook, too. See the forum comment right above yours!

Ah, David; you are not among the cognoscenti who understand why I append the adjective I did to my heading … :-
Could you be more direct with this moron, then, please? – I went back to the forum but found only a sticky which doesn’t seem relevant … -
I see no-one is going to provide the direction I need.
As well, I am remarkably unwilling to even HAVE a bloody Facebook site, of any kind.
So consider this request withdrawn; and I shall shortly withdraw myself from Facebook. -

It’s the last line in my original request. But I don’t believe, any more, that it’s actually possible to bypass one’s personal site and function only within an added ‘page’.
Please don’t bother: I meant what I said in my recent post.
