Morse code appears wrong in the title of the post
-
I wrote a title of a post in Morse Code for funny.
It is always correct in the editor, but it appears wrong in the published post.
This is the link:
https://artiebagagli.wordpress.com/2015/04/27/6201/This is the correct version:
… .- — ..- . .-.. — — .-. … . -….- – …. . — ..- … . -.–. .—- —.. …– –… -.–.-This is what appears (arbitrary substitution of sequences of “-” character):
… .- — ..- . .-.. — — .-. … . -….- – …. . — ..- … . -.–. .—- —.. …– –… -.–.- -
When two dashes (hyphens) were next to each other, they were converted to em dashes. You could try using the html code for every other dash like this to workaround it:
... .- -- ..- . .-.. -- --- .-. ... . -....- - .... . -- ..- ... . -.--. .---- ---.. ...-- --... -.--.- -
Hmm, my post didn’t show the code as I intended. You can view source of this page to get what you need or substitute this sequence for the dashes (remove the spaces between them so it’s just 6 characters): & # 0 4 5 ;

Thank you micawbr. It works (I used html code for every character). However blanks are not usable to format the text in this situation, so there is no spaces between words :-(
