Most bizzare problem!

  Hi there everyone.
  I have the most bizzare problem (to me) when writing new blog. As always I wrote few words in M.Word and wanted to paste it to new blog post but instead of my words I get everything in Chinese! When I paste the same txt to my email or any other window it is all correct but not in wordpress. Any idea what’s the problem? I’m operating on Windows 10 since Monday. I’d appreciate any help. Thank you

  Hi

  I would suggest writing / pasting your text into a plain text editor like Notepad and then copy/paste from there.

  Not sure why it’s showing in Chinese but must have something to do with the way WordPress is interpreting the MS Word formatting.

  I always prefer to work from plain text and then do the formatting using the WordPress editor.

  Thank you for your replay. I just realised that it happens when I’m pasting txt into visual box and when I switched to HTML box the problem was solved. Though that has never happened before and I was pasting from notepad. Perhaps this will help someone else having the sane problem.
