Most of my pages are missing

I just logged to my blog and noticed most of my pages are missing except for my “About” and “Home” pages. They are not showing up any where – either in the pages tab or menus on the dashboard. Is there a way to get the pages back? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Please see https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ first and then go to http://africacinema.wordpress.com/ wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page
They must be public pages – not private and not drafts.
Public – The page will be visible to everyone.
Protected – The page is protected with a password you set. Only people who have the password can view a protected page.
Private – Pages are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private pages are not visible in Reader, feeds, or in any search. A page can be private without being password protected.

Thanks for the suggestions. The pages are public and have been visible till I noticed they were missing today. The are no longer even listed in my “pages” or “menu.” They just disappeared. A google search showed people have had this problem in the past but did not find any solutions.

What are the exact URLs of these missing Pages please?
If you do not know what the URLs are then provide the titles of them please.

The person who deleted them was logged in as you. Have you given your password to other people?

I haven’t. I however have students contribute to the blog. I may have had logged in some place and someone may have accidentally delete it. Is there a way to restore those pages? I really will appreciate you help getting these pages back up. Thanks so much!

Oh you left yourself logged in and someone deleted the pages? Yikes :(
You’ll definitely want to avoid doing that in the future, since we generally trust that if you’re deleting your pages, you intend to do just that.
