Most of the comments on my site the email address is invalid. Why. Are they spam

    i have around 14000 comments on my blog. To check the authenticity of them I take a group of about 10 and usually ask them a simple question like. How did you find my blog. However a vast majority of the emails come back usually invalid or no such address exists.Are they spammers and how do they get to comment and leave an invalid email address.

    Can you point us at some posts where there are some of these, and perhaps tell us which have had invalid email addresses?
