Most recent blog post not showing up in Reader

  Hi,

  I have never had this problem before this evening. I published a blog post tonight, and although it published to my page, it isn’t showing up in the WordPress.com Reader like it usually does.

  I edited earlier with my phone (something I never do), and now I’m wondering if I clicked something I shouldn’t have?

  Any guidance is appreciated.

  Hi there. I followed your blog to test this and can confirm that it isn’t showing up in the Reader unless I go to Blogs I Follow and specifically click on your blog’s name.

  Try updating the post again, and if that doesn’t work, try setting it back to draft and republishing it. I don’t know if you used the old or new editor originally, but I’d suggest you use the classic editor under Posts ->All Posts on the WP-Admin dashboard.

  Let me know if neither of these options work.

  Thanks for the fast response! I updated the post, and sure enough, it showed up in my Reader. I will remember that trick for next time (though I hope there isn’t a next time).

  It’s strange that it disappeared from the Reader at all – I’ve never experienced it myself – so hopefully there isn’t a next time. Glad that fixed it.
