most recent post does not appear

Hi everyone,
My latest post does not appear on my wordpress.com blog homepage:
http://planetearthtraverse.wordpress.com/If you scroll down a bit, you can see earlier posts, but not the most recent post:
http://planetearthtraverse.wordpress.com/2011/08/02/dream/I think the post is there on the homepage, because it takes up space, but for some reason the font is not visible (I think it actually flashed for a second, then subsequently disappeared).
This problem started from last night (about 12 hours ago).

Wow, I’m not sure what is happening on your site, but give this a try.
Go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “save changes.”
Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, switch from the visual tab to the HTML tab (waiting for the page to refresh) and then switch back to the visual tag (again waiting for it to refresh), and then click “update post.” Check your blog and if it is back to normal, you are golden. If not, open the next post and do the same thing till it goes back to normal.

Thanks for your advice, thesacredpath. I tried it and the post still wouldn’t show up. Finally, I activated a different theme, then reactivated the old theme (Manifest) and now the latest post shows up. I’ll repost here if the same problem crops up with this theme.

You are welcome. I looked over your posts and also the source code for your main page and could find nothing that should have caused that. I also ran a validation report on the markup (XHTML) and except for some transitory HTML5 stuff that would not cause this issue, I found nothing. My suggestion was a total shot in the dark.
The good thing is it is now working for you and fingers crossed it continues.
